Uncorked and paired together for the first time, Vivek Singh of the Cinnamon Club and Jim Barry Vineyards, collaborate to host two exclusive wine tasting evenings. Whether your knowledge of wine is young and needs maturing or you’re a budding wine connoisseur, there is a unique event designed to develop your palette and expertise.
On Monday 26th April, from 6.30pm until 8pm, wine enthusiasts can enjoy an informal wine tasting evening alongside a selection of delicious canapés at Anise in the City, for £25 per person.
On Friday 21st May, for those of you who know your plonk from your premier cru, The Cinnamon Club in Westminster is showcasing a decadent six-course wine dinner, so you can enjoy London’s finest Indian cuisine matched perfectly with a series of award winning Australian wines, at £90 per person. Established and set up by the late Jim Barry in 1959, Jim Barry vineyards has since helped pioneer the Australian wine industry. Today, the company is headed by Jim’s second son Peter, who carries on his father’s innovative approach to viticulture and a strong commitment to technological excellence in winemaking. This philosophy is fundamental to the company’s ability to consistently produce wines of the highest quality, which have won international recognition. Both wine tasting events will showcase a range of red and white wines carefully paired with Vivek Singh’s celebrated Indian cuisine.

The Cinnamon Club plays host to the most colourful festival in the Hindu calender, Holi. Thanks to the vibrant innovation of Vivek Singh and Head Chef Hari Nagaraj, diners will be delighted with a dazzling five-course tasting menu from 1st March to the 7th of March 2010. Celebrating the passing of winter, arrival of spring, and triumph of good over evil, Holi unites the whole family for mishchevious merriment. Traditionally coloured water or paint is playfully thrown at passers-by amidst the revelry, although within the Grade II listed building of The Cinnamon Club, diners will be quiet safe. Winning wide acclaim for pushing forward the boundaries of Indian cuisine, Hari and Vivek have ensured that household favourites sit alongside their very own modern interpretations:
