Two of rugby’s greatest names are hosting an exclusive private dinner at Westminster’s famous fine-dining Indian restaurant, The Cinnamon Club on Tuesday 23rd March, in celebration of the 6 Nations.

Join Welsh international Gareth Thomas and BBC Presenter John Inverdale for a night of ruck and maul stories, served alongside London’s most exciting modern Indian food, courtesy of Vivek Singh. Tackling the highs and lows of rugby union, Thomas and Inverdale will regale diners with anecdotes from the scrum to the sidelines, and occasionally the sin bin, during three exceptional courses and perfectly paired wines in the restaurant’s private dining room.

Exquisite canapés and a cinnamon bellini launch the evening before diners sit for an exceptional menu including a starter selection of tandoori salmon, king prawns and crab cake; followed by char grilled loin of Welsh lamb with a saffron sauce accompanied by pilau rice and a selection of breads; and finishing with a warm chocolate mousse with white chocolate ice cream. After indulging in some of India’s finest flavours, the hosts will mingle amongst guests giving everyone the opportunity to speak to the stars.

A unique fixture for anyone’s diary, this exclusive event from 7pm – late, set within the beautiful grade II listed Old Westminster library, is a must at just £75 per person. Tickets are limited, please contact events@cinnamonclub.com for availability and table enquiries
